Abstrak

Masalah psikologis sering ditemukan pada fase remaja dengan rentang usia antara 17-24 tahun dan belum menikah. Berbagai permasalahan tersebut berpeluang memiliki keterkaitan dengan impostor syndrome. Sangat penting bagi orang tua untuk mengetahui fenomena impostor syndrome dan bagaimana cara berkomunikasi dengan anak yang mengalami fenomena tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dan dampak impostor syndrome, serta menjelaskan peran komunikasi keluarga dalam menghadapi impostor syndrome terhadap remaja di masa pandemi Covid-19. Adapun desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus dengan teknik purposive sampling yang memilih sampel berdasarkan indikator impostor syndrome. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Hasil dari penelitian mendeskripsikan beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan seorang remaja mengalami impostor syndrome di masa pandemi Covid-19 serta dampaknya. Fenomena tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pola komunikasi keluarga yang efektif.
