Komunikasi Anggota Keluarga Terhadap Sikap Penerimaan Pengasuhan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus

Komunikasi yang efektif antara anggota keluarga dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, dukungan, dan kualitas interaksi sehari-hari. Melalui komunikasi yang terbuka dan responsif, anggota keluarga dapat membantu anak berkebutuhan khusus merasa didukung dan dihargai serta membantu mereka mencapai kualitas hidup. Orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus sangat terlibat dalam semua aktivitas anak-anak mereka dan memberikan mereka perawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi keluarga, sikap, dan penerimaan pengasuhan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan deskriptif kausalitas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan paradigma positivistik. Lokasi penelitian adalah wilayah Jabodetabek. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari responden terpilih melalui wawancara terstruktur menggunakan kuesioner. Pengukuran ukuran sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Model Analysis - Partial Least Structural (SEM-PLS)-SmartPLS versi 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal keluarga memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan sikap penerimaan pengasuhan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Selain itu, pola komunikasi keluarga juga memengaruhi sikap penerimaan, meskipun pengaruhnya kecil dibandingkan dengan komunikasi interpersonal langsung.
